The Even Start components:

• Preschool (Currently available at Edison, Washington or Lincoln Child Development Centers)
  

• ESL or GED classes for Adults (Edison Center only) 48-60 hours/month
  

• Parenting Class (Currently available at Edison on Fridays from 12 pm-2 pm)
  

• Parent and Child Together Time (PACT) -Learning in the classroom with your child and also journaling what you do with your child outside of the classroom
  

• Home Visits

The Even Start program is FREE!

SBAS is proud to announce a partnership with RBUSD Child Development Centers for Even Start, a federally funded program that promotes family literacy to qualified applicants. This comprehensive program includes early childhood education, adult basic education, second language learning, and opportunities for parent and child activities.
