Have a child ENROLLED in preschool, kindergarten, first, or second grade. This is the most important component; it determines whether or not a family qualifies for the Even Start program. Take Adult Education classes such as ESL, Distance Learning, GED, High School Diploma, computer classes, college classes, job training, and career training courses. Required a minimum of 48 hours per month. Attend all parenting classes Friday's 12:00-2:00 in room 7 provided at the South Bay Adult School. Turn in PCILA hours every month. Each family must report at least 14 hours per month per child enrolled in the Even Start program.
