How to reach me...

About me...

Hello! My name is Cheryl Allsbrook. I started the parenting program at the South Bay Family Tree with my daughter when she was two months old. It was one of the best things I ever did as a new parent. The support and friendships I have received from the teachers and students has been undeniably the best. When I was offered the opportunity to join the staff 24 years ago, I felt it was my chance to give back to a wonderful program and embark on a career where every day I get to share with dedicated parents and adorable children. In my classes I am known as the Funky Monkey come on everybody...let's do the Funky Monkey.

LET THEM BE little.

While we try to teach our children all about life...our children teach us what life is all about.

This business of training little humans for life is a mind boggling process.

"The greatest thing a father can do for his daughter, is to love her mother." Elaine S. Dalton

Parenting shouldn't feel like a competitive sport, it's plenty challenging without any added obstacles. Strive to be loving and kind. Have the courage to ask for help. Take a break when you need it. Celebrate all the great stuff. Be kind to yourself.

Enjoy this moment, for this moment is your life.
