Community Education classes reflect the wide range of interests in our community and receive no state funds, they are fully supported by the fees paid by students.  Teachers in these classes are community experts who design their own course of study.

The South Bay Adult School continually seeks exciting and interesting classes and instructors for our Adult Community Education program. A California teaching credential is not necessary.

If you are interested in teaching for our Parent Education Program, please call Judy Spragg at 310.376.6211 x12 or email for information. Teachers must have a valid Adult Education California State Teaching Credential or California State Teaching Credential authorizing the holder to teach courses organized primarily for adults.
