Eat Ethnic!
Prepare to dine as a class at two of the South Bay's finest ethnic restaurants, Chaba Thai Bay Grill and Open Sesame, to learn about their food preparation and spices.  Cuisine experts will describe for us how to eat their food and will answer any questions we have.  Experience new tastes and meet other "foodies" as you become familiar enough with the cuisines to make it part of your "go to" restaurants list.   Class meets on Tuesday March 23 at Chaba Thai Bay Grill, 525 S. Kathy's Italian Kitchen

Learn to Play the Ukulele!
Always wanted to learn to play ukulele but didn't know how to start?  Frustrated with confusing books and instructional methods?  Want to learn how to figure out songs and strums by ear in seconds instead of hours/days/years?  Then this class is for you?  Students must provide own ukulele.  Six Monday meetings start March 22 at 1-2:30 pm, Edison Center Conference Hall A, 3401 Inglewood Avenue, RB

Floral Design-Wrist Corsages and Boutonnieres

Zumba Gold Fitness
The Zumba Gold Fitness program is an innovative, fun and exciting program.  Designed for the active older adult, Zumba Gold is done at a lower intensity, not as fast, but certainly as fun!  The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used.  Class meets for 8 Thursday meetings, starting March 25 at 5:5:50 pm, Edison Center, 3401 Inglewood Avenue, RB Conference Hall A.  $59 Register online.
Custom Designed Workouts
Customize a personal exercise package specific to your needs, body type, exercise experience, strengths, weaknesses, and even injuries. Please bring a yoga mat, weights, exercise band and a water bottle. Class meets for 6 Wednesdays starting March 24, 6-7:30 pm at Redondo Union High School, 710 Diamond Street, RB Bingo Room.  $59 Register online.

Kudos!  The SBAS team works tirelessly with our community, teachers, students and staff to develop new programs, classes, workshops and lectures for you.  The SBAS team has a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Led by Director,  Karen Westberg, thirty-five year educator; Principal Sallie Tahajian, Administrative Secretary Marla Nagel, RB District employee for twenty years; and Judy Spragg, Parent Education Coordinator, twenty-three years as a Parent Education teacher.  Program Secretaries, Irma Ruiz MCHS and Donna Israel, RUHS as well as the SBAS seasoned support staff.  With SBAS' combined experience in education, it's no wonder were going from good to great!
