South Bay Family Tree Parent Education (SBFT)

South Bay Family Tree Update
Dear South Bay Family Tree Community,
We hope that all of you have been weathering this global crisis as best you can. The impacts to our lives certainly run the gamut, from the inconvenient to the tragic. But most of all, we truly miss the experience of coming together with you and your children to take the first steps into the academic world. And while from the start of the pandemic, we have always hoped that we could reopen sooner than later, that is simply not safe at this point.
So, with the guidance of officials from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the Redondo Beach Unified School District and the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, the South Bay Family Tree program will not reopen at any point for the 2020-2021 school year. This is not a decision that is made lightly, but it is made with health and safety of parents, students and staff in mind. When we are able to announce plans for the 2021-2022 school year, we will do so on this website, as well as on social media.
Thank you all for your support of our program over the years and we look forward to the day when things return to normal. Stay safe!!
Sincerely,
Drew Gamet, Director
