GED Test Preparation Program

The smart way to learn, study and prepare to pass the GED!

Our free GED Test Preparation Program focuses on skill development that help you study for the official GED Tests with instructional videos, practice lessons, workshops, and direct instruction.  Assessments are provided indicating student readiness to pass each of the GED subject area exams: Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA), Mathematics Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. Through the Essential Education-GED Academy on-line curriculum, students are free to study at times that are convenient for them, day or night, wherever an internet connection is available.
Students are expected to study a minimum of 5 hours per week on-line.  In addition, students will attend the GED Preparation Lab on-site at the SBAS campus at least two times per week to receive whole-group instruction, individualized tutoring, and educational planning support. This is not an on-line only study program.
Attending a Zoom Information Webinar is the first step in the enrollment process where information about both the GED Preparation and High School Diploma programs will be presented.  You will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the next steps to register.  The Zoom Webinar may be viewed on a computer, laptop, notebook, or smart phone.  As a reminder, both programs require on-line studying and on-campus attendance.

Enrollment Process

Sign up for and attend a GED Preparation / High School Diploma Zoom Information Webinar. Detailed information about both the GED Preparation and High School Diploma Programs will be provided so potential students can choose the program that best fits with their educational goals.  Registration links will be shared at the webinar.
