Well, hello there!

 

I'm Ms. Katy and I am so excited to be your High School Diploma or ESL Level 4 pm Teacher!  It is so inspiring to work together with High School Diploma students to help you complete the classes needed to graduate, whether you attended high school here, or in another country!   Imagine how good that will feel?!? Think of how many doors that will open for you?! You will even get to 'walk the stage' in cap and gown in our Graduation Ceremony!

For my ESL students, I strive to provide you an exciting and enriching experience, having fun while learning English! We will use the Stand Out Level 3 Textbook and integrate listening, speaking and writing opportunities.  One of my specialties is building student confidence to speak. I invite you to come learn with me!

Here at South Bay Adult School, we also work very closely with El Camino College to help you start your college classes towards a new career.  You may want to start college classes after you finish your high school classes, but some students do both, High School Diploma or ESL, and El Camino College at the same time! This is Dual Enrollment and we can help pay for your education!

College does not have to be many years of study to achieve a degree. There are MANY Certificate Programs at El Camino College you can choose from that help you step right into a higher paying position, in fields that are in demand.  The programs can be only a few months to two years to complete.
